Counselling unit

Mental health & well-being is an essential aspect of school education wherein the young minds are trained to develop their skills & potentials. This in turn influences their learning as well as achievements. Our school curriculum incorporates a carefully planned Counselling & Guidance Programme that aims to flourish the educational journey, promote skill development, develop resilience against adversity & resolve their concerns before those can snow-ball into serious psychological problems. During this academic session counselling services have been provided online (through phone) to students as well as parents on a one-to-one basis in order to address them challenges in adapting to the pandemic linked situations.

Various online and offline talks for students are conducted on topics such as:

Health and hygiene

Effective study skills

Career guidance

Suicide prevention

Protecting from various forms of abuse

Awareness on laws, rights and responsibilities

Dealing with emotions

Handling substance abuse issues

Library

A library is a window to the world. Our well-equipped library, with 16122 books help our students not only to gain academic knowledge, but also enhance their skills in writing, reading and other domains like intellectual, spiritual and social. It is the core of our institution which provides a student to develop his/her scholarly abilities in a calm and disciplined atmosphere. National Librarian Day is celebrated yearly on 12th August to commemorate the birthday of Dr. S. R. Ranganathan, the father of library science. A host of activities and competitions are organised for the students.

Laboratories

Laboratories facilitate learning through experiment and research. Our Science, Vocational and ICT labs are well equipped and can accommodate large number of students.

Audio-Visual Classrooms

Classrooms are fitted with LCD projectors and screens thereby making the teaching-learning process an enjoyable experience for the students. In the science wing, a Smart Board is installed in the classroom for the benefit of the students.

Auditorium

Education is not just about offering academic knowledge, but also giving students a chance to tap and develop their various potentials. Our well-equipped Shri Hanumant M. Shirodkar Memorial Auditorium, is a platform where students are provided with an opportunity to grow academically, culturally, socially and economically. Facility of a Smart Board is also provided to aid students in audio visual learning.
