HSS Rules and Regulations

1. Every student must compulsorily carry the HSS Identity card bearing his/her photograph and the signature of the Principal. No student will be allowed to attend classes unless the Identity card is exhibited.

2. Students must attend lectures; tutorials or seminars according to the time table on all working days of the H.S.S. Students must not absent themselves from Lectures, Tutorials and Examinations without the prior permission of the Principal. To keep a term, a student has to maintain 75% of the attendance.

3. In case of illness, a student must apply for leave by post or in person with a doctor's certificate attached to the application and must report himself to the Principal immediately after resuming attendance.

4. Conduct of students in the class as well as on the premises of the H.S.S shall be such as will cause no disturbance to fellow students or to other classes.

5. Students must not loiter in the corridor of the H.S.S premises while the classes, are in progress. If students have any free time during classes, they must spend it in the Library.

6. Students shall do nothing either inside or outside the H.S.S that will in any way interfere with its orderly administration and discipline.

7. Students are strictly prohibited from bringing any kind of vehicle into the campus of the Institution. Students are not permitted to sit on any vehicle/s parked in the campus.

8. The Government has decided to ban the use of mobile phones by students in the school campus during the school hours, the students are strictly prohibited from using mobile phones in the school campus during school hours. If any student is found with a mobile phone or any other electronic device which may cause disturbance to the school atmosphere, he/she will be strictly dealt with, which may result in heavy punishment/ine or even cancellation of admission and such items will be confiscate.

9. No society or association shall be formed in the H.S.S and no person is to be invited to address a meeting without the Principal's prior permission.

10. No student shall collect any money as contribution for picnic, trip educational visit to a place, get-together, study-notes, charity or any other activity without the prior sanction of the Principal.

11. Students are expected to take proper care of the H.S.S property and to help in keeping the premises neat and tidy. Damage to the property of the H.S.Si.e. disfiguring walls, door fitting or breaking furniture, etc. is a breach of discipline and will be duly punished.

12. Loss of Identity Card In case of loss of Identity Card, a duplicate Identity Card may be obtained on payment of necessary charges.

13. The H.S.S is not responsible for lost property. Students should deposit the lost property found by them at the library counter or office counter. The owner should claim it a the library counter or office counter on the following day.

14. Students applying for certificates, testimonials, etc.. and those requiring the Principal's signature on any kind of document or application should first contact the office, three days in advance. No papers should be brought by students directly to the Principal for his signature.

15. Students involved in malpractice at the time of examination will be debarred from the H.S.S.
