
Rules for Admission
1. During admission to std XI/XII, every student shall be present with their parents/ guardian, with the prescribed admission form, duly filled in all respects for an interview with the principal/authorised admission committee.
2. No admission shall be regarded as duly granted, unless it is granted by the the Principal, and the necessary fees have been received by the H.S.S.
3. All admissions are valid only for the academic year and are required to be renewed by application in the prescribed form for every subsequent year of the study in the H.S.S.
4. Once a student is admitted, to the H.S.S., he/she shall be liable to pay full fees for the whole term.
5. A student once admitted will be considered duly enrolled for the academic year, unless he/she informs the Principal in writing of his/her intention to leave the H.S.S. at least a week before the commencement of the second term.
6. Certificates required to be submitted along with the Admission Form for the admission to Std. XI/XII.
(1) Original Marklist of Std. X/XI with two Photo copies of the same, a copy of the Aadhar Card, Birth Certificate.
(2) Original School Leaving Certificate with two photo copies of the same.
(3) Four recent Identity Card size Photographs to be clicked in the H.S.S for the purpose of a laminated Identity Card, Library Cards, and Admission Form.
(4) Students taking admission from another Board should produce Eligibility Certificate of the Goa Board in addition to above Certificates.
7. Eligibility rules for the student migrating from other Boards / Foreign educational institutions.
(A) For admission to Std XI after passing Std. X of other Boards:
(1) No student will be admitted on regular basis unless at least the Provisional Eligibility Certificate issued by Goa Board, is produced.
(2) The admission of such students will not be regularised, unless the final Eligibility Certificate issued by Goa Board is produced.
(3) No student will be permitted to appear for Std. XI Final Examination without producing the Final Eligibility Certificate of Goa Board.
(4) Documents required by Goa Board for obtaining Final Eligibility Certificate.
(i) Statement of Marks of the last Public Examination passed (Attested Copy).
(ii) Passing Certificate of the last Public Examination. (Attested Copy).
(iii) Migration Certificate in Original.
(B) For admission to Std. XII after passing Std. XI of other Boards.
(1) No student will be admitted on regular basis unless at least provisional Eligibility Certificate issued by the Goa Board is produced.
(2) The admission of such students will not be regularised unless Final Eligibility Certificate issued by the Goa Board, is produced before the end of the First Term.
(3) The Application Form of such students for the H. S. S. C. Examination to be conducted by Goa Board will not be forwarded unless Final Eligibility Certificate is produced.
(4) Documents required by the Goa Board for obtaining the Final Eligibility Certificate.
(i) Statement of Marks of the last Public Examination passed (Attested copy).
(ii) Passing Certificate of the last Public Examination (Attested copy).
(iii) School Leaving Certificate / Transfer Certificate of Std. XI duly countersigned by the Educational authorities (Attested copy).
(v) Annual Report / Final Report of Std XI (Attested copy).
Attention of Students is drawn to the procedure laid down by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, for the issue of Eligibility Certificate.
1. Provisional Eligibility will be issued at the beginning of the academic year upto 31st August, only.
2. Students who fail to obtain the Provisional Eligibility Certificate as on 31st August of the year will have to pay a Penalty equal to 3 times the Eligibility Certificate Fees.
3. Students who fail to obtain the Final Eligibility Certificate as on 30th March of the academic year will have to pay a Penalty equal to 5 times the Eligibility Certificate Fees.
(C) Foreign Cases:
No student will be admitted on regular basis unless, the Passing Certificate duly countersigned by the authorities of the Indian Embassy or Consulates in those countries, is produced, and the Final Eligibility Certificate is obtained from the Goa Board before the end of the First Term.
