National Service Scheme
The National Service Scheme is a voluntary association of students to work for campus-community linkages. The aim is to develop student’s personality through community service. Students indulge in community work thus developing a sense of involvement in the tasks of nation building. NSS volunteers work to ensure that the needy get help to enhance their standard of living. A variety of regular activities are organized every year to channelize the energy and ideals of the younger generation into creative pursuits.

Volunteers participate in the Annual NSS Camp, learning to work and play in harmony with their fellow batchmates.


Youth Red Cross
Youth Red Cross is the young and vibrant wing of Indian Red Cross Society, igniting within the youth the indomitable will to serve the society. The objective of our YRC is to train the zealous volunteers with the fundamental principles of Red Cross, so that they may remain unperturbed and develop in them a spirit of selfless service to serve the most vulnerable people and to carry out social commitments and responsibilities under the frame of Seven fundamental principles of Red Cross such as Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary Service, Unity, Universality.

Volunteers are given first hand training on handling and providing First Aid, Disaster Management, Coping Stress Related Diseases to name a few.

 

Red Ribbon Club
The Red Ribbon Club is a voluntary on-campus intervention program for students started by the Government of India through which, students understand and spread awareness over HIV / AIDS. It envisages to instil charity mind among all the students, to extend their ability to help towards developing healthy life styles, to reduce the stigma and discrimination against HIV/AIDS and to develop their skills on leadership, negotiation, and team building.

Online training, Competitions, Observation of World AIDS Day, is carried out by the club yearly.

Student Council is an organization which gives students an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects. In addition to planning events that contribute to school spirit and community welfare, the student council is the voice of the student body. They help share student ideas, interests and concerns with the school wide community. Important occasions like Teachers’ Day, Children’s Day are observed and competitions are organised to bring out the talents of our budding students.

Career Guidance Cell
Career Guidance Cell

Career Guidance is a counselling programme designed to help students choose the right career path based on their educational and professional choices. It is a qualitative and quantitative assessment of the knowledge, skills, information, and experience to identify career options available. Aptitude Tests, talks and guidance programmes on Company Secretaryship, Chartered Accountancy, Tally, Robotics, Animation, A.I., Coding, Library Science, Nursing, Engineering, Mass Communication, Public Speaking are timely organised for the students. SCERT, in collaboration with TCS-ion informs students about the various options available in every stream after Std XII. They also conduct an evaluative aptitude test to guide and enlighten students about their future career options.

The Consumer Welfare Club is formed to educate students in particular about the rights they enjoy as consumers. To make it innovative and interesting, awareness programmes and competitions are conducted throughout the year.

Disaster Management
Disaster Management

The Disaster Management Cell works towards collating all the information needed for effective management of disasters in schools. They prepare the school community for any emergency response by creating an awareness, defining roles and responsibilities for effective response, implementing mitigation activities in school and promoting partnership among various stakeholders.
